Abstract:
Adolescence represents a highly dynamic phase of growth marked by ongoing brain maturation, emotional sensitivity, and continuous psychosocial adjustment. In recent years, the widespread integration of digital technology into everyday life has reshaped routines, often resulting in extended screen time among young individuals. Persistent and excessive digital engagement has been linked with difficulties in concentration, increased impulsivity, mood fluctuations, disrupted sleep patterns, and behavioural changes. From an Ayurvedic perspective, such concerns can be understood through its holistic view of the interconnectedness of body and mind, offering a classical framework to interpret and manage the effects of modern lifestyle influences on adolescent well-being.
