Dr. Aarti Kumari, Dr Ashu, Dr. Manoj Kumar

Vol. 22, Issue 1, Jul-Dec 2026

Abstract:

In Ayurvedic literature, Nasa Arsha is classified as a Nasagata Roga (nasal disorder) that arises when aggravated Doshas accumulate within the nasal passage (Ghrana Pradesha). This condition manifests through a distinct cluster of symptoms, including rhinitis (Pratishyaya), severe sneezing (Ati-matra Kshavathu), laboured breathing (Kruchchhra Uchchhwasa), fetid nasal odour (Putinasya), headaches (Shirah Shula), and impaired nasal speech articulation (Anunasika Vakya Dukha).
